Winter Solstice Spirit Vessel
In the subdued colors of the fallen autumn leaves, the Winter Solstice Spirit Vessel softly ushers in a season of quiet reflection. With lessened demands from outdoor chores and a generally slower pace, we are invited to take the time for renewal of spirit and a tending of our inner gardens.
This is a time for rest, turning inward, and thoughtful planning for when the earth reawakens in the spring. Although the days are at their shortest on Winter Solstice, we begin moving from the darkness into the light, as the days will slowly lengthen from here onward. Itâs a natural time of hibernation, storing up energy and preparing for the coming seasons. Employ your spirit vessel as a container for your winter musings, writing your meditations on slips of paper and releasing your intentions to the Universe.
This soft, woolen vessel is also an excellent place to store your stones and crystals. If you find it difficult to rest your mind, try a Kunzite crystal to induce a deep, meditative state, or Labradorite which is known for fostering a more contemplative and introspective state of mind. Keep these stones in your Winter Solstice vessel to encourage you to work with them often. Embrace the spirit vessel as a part of your seasonal rituals but be sure to enjoy its beauty year-round.
**Each vessel is handmade from wool roving (the loosely combed & dyed or natural fibers of sheepâs wool) through the art of wet felting. Although the colors are depicted as closely as possible to the actual item, please be aware that colors may appear differently on your computer screen**
